What is served on the handmade plates
Junior chef Flo, the young and wild cooking artist in the restaurant in Zell am See, has turned his passion into his profession. He experiments with different taste components and conjures up extraordinary delicacies which are served on the handmade plates from the forest workshop. Flo's cooking is enamoured with produce and reduced to the essential. The classic foundation with old, traditional influences, such as the fermenting of food or preserving in oil and vinegar, is combined with clever reinterpretations of modern cuisine. Flo's unmistakable signature refines every classic. In doing so, we place great value on barrier-free indulgence with meatless dishes, a separate children's menu and dishes for those suffering from food allergies.
Regionality from morning until evening
Eat well in Zell am See – but only with the best ingredients. A good basic product, preferably from the region and refined with international influence, is the basis for culinary highlights. Many products such as meat, milk, cheese and whey are sourced from our partner, Augut Farm Shop. We bake the bread for the restaurant by the Schmitten ourselves, plant many types of vegetables and preserve them for winter, and also make some beverages such as tea, juice, essences and fermented brewed beverages (Kombucha). Guests and restaurant customers can expect the best from the region served à la carte for breakfast and dinner.
